The BOCC proclaims July 11 as Citrus Memorial Hospital 60th Anniversary Day in Citrus County

The Citrus County Board of County Commissioners presented a Proclamation at their regular meeting on June 26, 2017 proclaiming July 11 as Citrus Memorial Hospital 60th Anniversary Day in Citrus County.
Citrus Memorial Hospital began serving the Citrus County community on July 11, 1957. The hospital has grown over the years to provide a broad scope of services including a family-friendly emergency room, orthopedic and spine center, heart and vascular center, women and baby center, minimally invasive surgeries, acute care, rehabilitation, laboratory, wound care and diagnostic services.
Citrus Memorial Hospital treats more than 150,000 patients a year and employs more than 1,100 citizens in high quality, professional jobs.
The Board of County Commissioners proclaims July 11, 2017 as “Citrus Memorial Hospital 60th Anniversary Day” and encourage all citizens to join in the observance.
