Two Hurricane Irma Citrus County Relief Centers Now Open

Citrus County now has two Hurricane Irma Citrus County Relief Centers with FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance Specialists available to help people register for FEMA Individual Assistance. The Center locations are:

Citrus County Resource Center, 2804 W. Marc Knighton Ct., Lecanto, FL. 34461

Citrus Springs Community Center, 1570 W. Citrus Springs Blvd., Citrus Springs, FL 34435

The Hurricane Irma Citrus County Relief Centers will be open from 8am to 6pm daily until Monday, October 16, 2017, at 6pm.  This includes Saturday and Sunday.Citizens may also go to to register with FEMA for Individual Assistance. 

Assistance for eligible survivors can include grants for temporary housing and home repairs, and for other serious disaster-related needs, such as medical and dental expenses or funeral and burial costs.   

The FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance Team Specialists will continue to be in the county going door to door while Relief Centers are open.
