Citrus County's strategic initiatives are part of our citizen-driven strategic plan, which begins with the County's vision, mission, strategic goals, and core values. The strategic planning process is designed to identify issues that may prevent Citrus County from achieving the mission and vision set forth by our residents.

Our Vision: A welcoming, economically vibrant community where people and nature live in harmony.

Our Mission: To manage growth and foster prosperity by prioritizing the protection of environmental assets, the development and maintenance of infrastructure, and the health, safety, and well-being of our citizens.
