The Community Kitchen has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. The Community Kitchen is for entrepreneurs and vendors who need kitchen space with a minimum capital investment. The kitchen provides prep space, cold and dry storage, and is available hourly, weekly, monthly or as needed.

The following is needed in order to rent space at the Community Kitchen:
  • Need to be licensed through Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) or Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services
  • Need to have one of the approved Food Manager’s certifications through one of the accredited examination programs listed below (Under Florida Law, within 30 days, Food Managers are required to have this and pass exam). Anyone else working in the kitchen under the Food Manager is required to have a Food Handler’s Certificate (Under Florida Law food handlers must receive certification within 60 days after employment).

    • Above Training/State-Food Safety
    • Manager must have a ServSafe Certificate
    • Anyone working under the manager must have Food Handler's Certificate
