Who Can Adopt A Park?

Community groups, civic organizations or businesses all may volunteer for the Adopt-A-Park Program. The Adopt-A-Park Program aims to unite and support all people interested in improving Citrus County parks and open spaces. Our organizations may include:

  • Neighborhood Associations
  • Schools
  • Church Groups
  • Civic Clubs
  • Senior Organizations
  • Youth Groups
  • Scouts
  • Businesses
What Can Be Adopted?

  • Sports fields
  • Exercise courses
  • Playgrounds

  • Undeveloped Parkland
  • Flower beds
  • Trees and shrubs
How Can Organization Help? You Can Help By:

  • Picking up litter
  • Raking leaves
  • Caring for trees
  • Reporting park hazards
  • Removing graffiti
  • Sweeping courts and pathways
  • Pulling Weeds
