Some things to keep in mind

The PetMeals Program is a volunteer-based program. All food in the program is donated on a monthly basis, and it is impossible to predict the amount of food the program will receive. Therefore, we do not guarantee that you will receive PetMeals.

Pets acquired after a PetMeals client is signed up should not be incentive to acquire more pets.

The PetMeals program will NOT provide pet food to individuals feeding stray animals. During your assessment, ownership of the animal will be established by a qualified staff member of Citrus County Support Services.

It should be remembered that it is the client’s responsibility to maintain an alternate source of pet food at all times. The program may not be able to provide food for your animal every month. Be sure to keep extra pet food on hand at all times.
