Citrus County Fire Rescue Training Center

Since its doors opened in October 1999, the Citrus County Fire Rescue Training Center has been committed to providing quality training for Citrus County firefighters.

Today, it has become much more. Not only does the center provide a quality training facility for our volunteers and career firefighters, but it is a State Certified training center as well. This qualification allows our firefighters the ability to obtain state certifications in a variety of specialty courses.

Providing quality and safe fire and emergency services require a well trained response force. The training center offers over 20 certificate programs of study including but limited to the following:

The facility is comprised of the following:  four story training tower, three room burn building, LP gas training, confined space and Haz Mat facilities, four classrooms, two story maze, and an auto extrication pad.
