New Canopy Construction at the Lecanto VA Clinic Completed

The Citrus County Board of County Commissioners is excited to announce the installation of a Canopy
at the front of the VA Lecanto Clinic located at 2804 W. Marc Knighton Ct., Lecanto, FL 34461.

The work was performed by Gator Construction on September 29, 2020, and was funded by the Citrus
County Division of Veterans Services.

The idea was brought forward by former Veteran Advisory Board Member Sam Ruby to help protect
veterans from the weather elements as they waited for their transportation.

In collaboration with local VA officials, the Citrus County Division of Veteran Services is pleased
to see this project come to fruition. This is a win for veterans in our community and adds a layer
of safety for veterans, particularly during inclement weather.
