Citrus County Small Business Grants Funding Available

Citrus County Board of County Commissioners approved the Citrus County Small Business Grant 
Programs with
$200,000 in funding at their regular meeting Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

There will be two programs available to small businesses with less than 35 employees:

•             The Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Micro Grant will have a minimum award of $250 
up to a
maximum award of $2,500.

•             The Retrofit/Adaptation Grant will have a maximum award of $10,000 per business.

A small business may be eligible for both grants.

These grants are offered on a reimbursement basis and will require the business to submit an 
application online through SurveyMonkey Apply on the Citrusbocc.com website:

Applications will be accepted until funds are exhausted. Grants are strictly limited to businesses 
located physically within Citrus County, with a Business Tax Receipt (BTR). The business is 
expected to be fully operational after local and state emergency guidelines are rolled back.
