Central Ridge District Park Temporarily CLOSED January 22 and 23

Central Ridge District Park, 6905 N. Lecanto Hwy in Beverly Hills will be CLOSED on Friday, January 
22 and Saturday, January 23 due to COVID-19 (65+) vaccine distribution by the Florida Department of 
Health in Citrus County (DOH- Citrus). The park will reopen to citizens Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 
sunrise.

No overnight parking will be permitted. The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office will monitor the area 
and be taking enforcement action if necessary. As a reminder, there is no parking or blocking park 
entrance or along the right of way. Citizens traveling to the park to receive their vaccinations 
are asked to arrive no earlier than 9am Saturday, January 23 when the vaccinations begin.

Citizens are asked to be patient and not put their safety at risk. More vaccines will be available 
and future dates will be announced on the DOH-Citrus website at www.CitrusCountyHealth.org.

DOH-Citrus is encouraging citizens who would like additional information to phone any of the local 
libraries. Staff is on hand at each library to answer questions and provide the paperwork necessary 
to receive the vaccination.
