Roadwork to Begin on County Road 491 / Lecanto Highway

A Small County Outreach Program (SCOP) Resurfacing Project is scheduled to begin on County Road 491
(Lecanto Highway) between W Ocala St and W Grover Cleveland Blvd. Milling is scheduled to begin on
the evening of Sunday, October 3, 2021. Paving is scheduled to begin on the morning of Monday,
October 4, 2021. Milling operations are anticipated to occur during the evening hours with paving
operations happening during daytime hours.
Construction is anticipated to last approximately 4 weeks. Please plan accordingly and adjust the
time allowed for commuting, as delays are expected when traveling through this construction zone.
