Our Mission Statement:
Citrus County Transit is committed to providing safe, secure, clean, and reliable transportation services to all residents and visitors.
Per the TSA's removal of its federal mast mandate, masks are now optional for Citrus County Transit passengers and employees.
Background:
Citrus County Transit operates 30 buses and vans with an average of 6,872 trips a month. The transit system has been in operation since 1978 under the County's Department of Community Services.
The Citrus County Transit Bus provides door to door transit service throughout Citrus County as a demand-response para transit bus system. CCT operates on preset schedules and reservations.
The system picks up riders anywhere within the county's 773 square-mile area and transports them to their planned destinations.Holiday Schedule
