    The Annual "Two Good Soles” Socks & Shoes Drive will run through September 11th. NCVC & RSVP recognizes 9/11 as a day of giving in memory of those who died in the wake of the 9/11 attacks. NCVC is collecting new shoes and socks by sponsoring a drive for needy children.

County offices closed for Labor Day Holiday

Citrus County Government offices will be closed Monday, September 7, 2015, in observance of Labor Day.

  • The county landfill will be closed on Labor Day.
  • All library branches will be closed on Labor Day.
  • All Community buildings will be closed.
  • Parks and boat ramps are OPEN for regular business hours.
  • Bicentennial Pool will be open from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm for Open Swim and Central Ridge Pool will be open from 12 noon to 5:30 pm for Open Swim.
  • Animal Services will be closed on Labor Day.
